Lighting
Fixtures placed where the light is needed, on switches that make sense and dimmers that do not buzz.
Plan the lighting — (000) 000-0000One fixture in the middle of a kitchen leaves you working in your own shadow. Eight cans on one switch make a living room either glaring or gloomy. The fix is not more light; it is light in the right places, controlled sensibly.
Together we sketch where each fixture should go, then we install it with neat ceiling cuts and switching that matches how you move through the house. LED fixtures are paired with dimmers rated for them, so there is no flicker or hum, and we confirm the circuit can carry the new load before we start. Bigger projects get zones, so one switch sets the room for cooking, reading or winding down.
Thinking about smart switches or app-controlled lighting? We will tell you which systems need a neutral wire in the switch box, which work on older wiring, and which are worth the cost for the rooms you have in mind.
From one pendant to a whole-house plan.
Positions, spacing and switching sketched and agreed before any ceiling is cut.
Slim LED wafers or housings, evenly spaced, with insulation-contact or fire-rated fittings where required.
Boxes rated for the weight, hung at the right height over islands and tables.
Low-profile LED on a switch or dimmer, drivers hidden out of view.
Entry, path and security lights with weather-rated fixtures on protected circuits.
LED-compatible dimmers, three-way switching, timers and occupancy sensors where useful.
Older fixtures and cans converted to LED, often without opening the ceiling.
Fixtures aligned, trim tight to the ceiling, every switch labelled and the packaging and offcuts taken away when we leave.
We talk through how you use each space and mark fixture spots. An itemised price follows.
Floors and furniture covered, circuits run, fixtures fitted and controls installed. A room usually takes a day or less.
Dimmer ranges tuned, every switch tested, and the controls explained before we leave.
Spacing and switching settled before any holes.
Fixtures and dimmers matched to avoid flicker.
Careful cuts and dust control, which means less patching and painting for you afterwards.
Tell us which ones. We will plan the fixtures with you and put the price in writing after a free visit.
